Bruce SprinsteenEStreetBand_lp_121181_1001 Bruce Springsteen and the E Street band photographed live in concert performance 12/11/1981 during The River Tour by Laurie Paladino. Pictured left to right are Clarence Clemmons, Bruce Springsteen, Gary Tallent and Miami Steve Van Zandt. I'm sure every photographer has a personal favorite photograph. This is mine. It was a shot I grabbed from the audience and if I remember correctly I had a converter on the camera lens to double the focal length. Although the shot is not in perfect focus the spirit of the moment was captured during The River Tour in 1981. I recall a friend of Steve Van Zandt's requested a copy of the photo for Steve after seeing it published in a few rock magazines. Although I provided a print it never helped me get any photo passes for future performances, unfortunately! I've always thought of this shot as my iconic rock photo.
